Roger lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. His art reflects his passionate commitment to portray the majesty and unparalleled beauty of the Hawaiian tropical environment, particularly the extraordinarily rare or endangered native species of Hawaiian flowers and plants. He has a studio and gallery in his home. He also exhibits at University of Hawaii's Lyon Arboretum, with which he has had a long relationship through both his art and in his work with the Lyon Arboretum Micropropagation Laboratory to conserve and propagate the Hawaiian native plants . Roger is excited to announce that some of his works are available as rugs from the Indich rug company of Honolulu and as 8"x10" ceramic tiles. Art tiles based on his paintings are available at the Lyon Arboretum gift shop and at Island Treasures Art Gallery in Kailua, Oahu.
Roger is also excited to announce that his works will be featured in an exhibit at the Louis Pohl Gallery at 1142 Bethel St. in Honolulu. The exhibit will run through November 15th, 2019.
